Initial Phase 1/Scoping Surveys

Giles Agro-Ecology provides extended Phase 1 ecological surveys which are the initial baseline surveys required before planning permission is granted.

This type of survey will evaluate any ecological constraints that need to be taken into consideration during the planning process. The survey will map and assess the habitats present and provide a full species list including invasive species. It may also highlight the need for further specialist protected species surveys, for example if the site is likely to host species such as bats, water voles or great crested newts.
